Equipment:
Furthermore, the station's auxiliary equipment was identified, including power, control, operating, and protective cables, industrial connectors, and connection elements. Also visible is a control panel with Start, Stop, and Reset buttons, an emergency stop button, and an adjustment knob, mounted on a metal frame also intended for the robot's operator panel. Additionally, two EATON manual control pendants with control and safety buttons were identified. Due to the disassembly of the station, the disorganized wiring, and the inability to start the set, it is not possible to clearly confirm the completeness of all cables, connectors, and connection elements.
Technical Condition Description Nameplate: - Location: MERKLE HighPULSE touch welding machine – device housing, Universal Robots UR10e robot – robot arm, Universal Robots UR10e controller/controller – controller housing, - Tampering/irregularities – none, Technical Documentation: - User's Manual – none, - Parts catalog – none, - Technical specifications – none, - Service documentation – none, - Documentation confirming the completeness of the set – none.
CE/EC Certificate: - CE marking – yes, - Declaration/Certificate of Conformity – none, Operation History: - Service documentation – none, - Periodic inspection markings – a "tested according to IEC 60974-1" inspection sticker with the date November 2021 was found. - Operating hours data – none, - Previous robot repair or calibration data – none,
Year of Manufacture: - MERKLE HighPULSE touch welding machine – 2021 - Universal Robots UR10e robot and robot controller – 2022. Data determined based on permanently affixed markings on factory nameplates. Technical Condition: The devices were inspected in a storage facility, without service verification or commissioning. The assessment was made visually, to the extent possible based on an external inspection.
At the time of inspection, the station was partially disassembled. The individual components of the system were not connected to form a complete working system, therefore, it was not possible to check the operation of the robot or welding source, or perform a welding test. Traces of industrial use were found on the system components, including dirt, housing scratches, abrasions, and local paintwork damage. Dirt is visible on the welding machine housing, robot arm, control panels, cables, and accessories. The metal frame/bracket has scratches and paintwork damage. The robot's operator panel is dirty, and the touchscreen has scratches, likely protected by a protective film.
The wiring and accessories revealed disorganized cables and loose connection components. One of the cables/working terminals shows visible insulation damage with exposed wire cores. This condition requires verification before the station can be put into operation. Due to the disassembly of the set, the lack of connection of the components, and the lack of a functional test, it is impossible to clearly confirm the completeness of the cables, connectors, and connection elements, as well as the functionality of the entire welding and robotic station, and therefore its wear and tear.
The technical condition of the set is described as average, with visible signs of industrial use, dirt, scratches, local damage to the hardware, and without the possibility of confirming its functional functionality. |
